It is very lightweight. Jada blends perfectly with my hair. It's way less effort to put this baby on and go. This hair is expensive for a reason and you will definitely get your money's worth. I was buying 5+ hair a year because of the subpar quality and those combined is more than this one. I dyed it black myself since the natural color was too brown (I would say it's a color 4). This is my first hair from here and I made quite a few mistakes (no fault of the company at all) and thought I'd share them here: every single thing they state on here is accurate, no cheating. The hair arrived very soft and thick. I love that I did not have to color the hair. It blends well. I have tried to flat iron but have not gotten it bone straight. I will try to wand curl or flexi for it. This was an investment for me but it was well worth it! I love how natural it looks. The kinky straight is a really good match for me. I blow dry my small leave out, put on a scarf for a little while to make it lay and blend and that’s pretty much it. I have 24 inches. Sometimes I pass a flat iron through it on low temp just to decrease the volume some. Other than that, it’s been low maintenance. I receive compliments daily and for people who don’t know me, they ask me for tips to make their hair grow as long as mine lol. Customer service was very helpful throughout. I have been watching for over two years now. Finally decided to make a purchase 3weeks ago. I bought the 18inch Jada Kinky straight. I did color hair with a 1b hair color and I really loved the texture and how well it blends with my natural hair. I will definitely invest in another one soon. No shedding and it smells good. I spent a pretty penny on my Jada (Kinky Straight) - 16 inch. But I have to admit, it's worth every penny. After I washed, conditioned, and flat ironed it, I installed it per the video instructions provided by IWW. It curled beautifully. I can even sleep in it a few days in a row without irritation. I am 4C and, yes, had to flat iron a thin section of leave-out to achieve the look (which the instructions are very clear about btw.). Even when my leave-out started to shrink a little, it still blended pretty well...just had to comb it out again. But anyway, very happy I gave this hair and company a chance. Very satisfied! When I first got the hair I was not happy until I measured the length and washed it. It was longer than the 18 inches from top to bottom. I have the 8AA quality and it washes well and I put a 1B rinse on it. It’s still good. I am pleased with my hair and the knowledge of customer service. I got my hair stylist to style & install & I was completely sold. Very pleased as this is my first time purchasing. Great! Will purchase again.
